Getting to Wildsong
Our address is 75 Matt Smith Rd, Cochecton, NY 12726. We’re a ~2hr drive from NYC.

Once you’re on Matt Smith Rd, we are the third driveway on your left, just after the two-storey white farmhouse. You will not be able to see the lodge from the road. Look for the mailbox and sign that say “75” and turn left down the red shale driveway.
If you reach a single-storey brown house, you’ve gone too far. Please go very slowly down our driveway. There are several spots with sharp turns and steep slopes.
Tips on driving from NYC:
Most of the time variability comes from getting out of NYC, so it’s best to drive when city traffic is clearer. The best time to leave is after 8pm on a weekday, when it takes about 1hr 45mins from the Upper West Side, or 2 hours flat from Brooklyn. Try to avoid leaving on Friday afternoons, especially in the Summer. That can take up to 3.5 hours.
Bus from NYC
The most consistent, efficient and environmentally friendly way to get here is by bus from Port Authority in Manhattan to Monticello. The buses from there have a special route to exit and enter Manhattan from NJ that avoids much of the city traffic, even during busy times. So if you must leave on a Friday afternoon, this is the best option. From the Monticello bus station, you can get a Lyft/Uber or call a local taxi service here (20 min drive). We can arrange transport to/from the Monticello bus station for a fee. See the bus schedule on the CoachUSA website.
Tip: The bus tickets are not reserved for a particular bus! So if you’re traveling at a popular time please get to the bus gate 45 minutes early to avoid the bus filling up before you get on.
