Accommodation at Wildsong

We are privileged to be the stewards of Wildsong Gaian Sanctuary, 150 magical acres of Grandmother Earth. We are nurturing a regenerative food forest and (re)learning how to thrive alongside the other beings of this land. Our intention with opening this property to guests is to facilitate others’ journey of deeper connection with nature, which leads us back to our true, full selves.

The main lodge is available year-round. With 8 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, we have bed space for 24 adults. In the warmer months, we can accommodate an additional 12 adults in glamping tents with comfortable beds. We also have a 30-foot yurt, perfect for meditations, yoga, or conscious movement practices.

Wildsong is powered by renewable energy sources. We source our heat from the Earth itself via our geothermal radiant heating system, and Grandfather Sun provides our electricity.

The Main Lodge

Our 8-bedroom log cabin is thoughtfully designed for groups and large families to gather and connect. The great room takes center stage with a large fireplace, open layout, soaring cathedral ceilings, and flexible seating that can be easily rearranged to accommodate different group activities. Our dining area’s enormous 8′ x 8′ dining table, handmade from trees that grew on the land, can easily fit 16, and is warmly lit by a dimmable chandelier.

The back deck has a breathtaking view of the sunset over the pond, beaver lodge, evergreen forest and protected wetlands. The BBQ grill is right outside on the deck with a full picnic table if you would like to have lunch under the sun or under the stars.

The kitchen is fully equipped to make meals for a large group: 2 ovens, high-output 5-burner stove, a double fridge, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, Vitamix, Coffee makers, and dishwasher. We even have an extensive tea station!

The fully finished basement features a family room with TV and board games, and two bathrooms. The sauna is a cozy space to unwind the body/mind after a day of exploring and playing outdoors.

The Yurt

Next to the main lodge is our 30-foot yurt with wood floors, equipped with plenty of equipment for yoga, meditation, breathwork, conscious dance, and other wellness activities. This is available upon special request, for an additional charge.

Glamping tents

During the warm months, we have spacious 16’ glamping canvas tents available with comfy beds.

The glamping tents are only available from May through to September by special request, and will require an additional charge.

The Land

For explorers, this is a dream. The extensive hiking trails on this 150 acre piece of Earth showcases the many facets of the environment in upstate New York. As you ramble along the extensive hiking trails, a series of diverse micro-environments unfolds: from beaver pond, to pine forest, to babbling stream, into the marsh, or back out into fields of wild strawberries, rock cliffs, and maple and beech forest.

The grounds are teeming with wildlife. We share the space with deer, turkey, beaver, geese, wild ducks, hummingbirds, monarch butterflies, bees, owls, red-tail hawks and bald eagles – all common sightings in the usual seasons. Our more shy neighbours include coyote, black bear, river otter, and blue heron. Some often under-appreciated beings you might encounter are wasps, black flies and field mice (though I personally love the cute little field mice). Nature is diverse. We accept the ones we like as well as the ones we like less.

Other things to note

The caretakers of the property might be around during your booking to take care of the farm, clear the trails, and fix things around the property. They are housed in separate spaces and will respect your privacy and will not enter the main lodge without consent during your time here.

This is a special land where we are building a regenerative farm, deepening our connection to Nature and practicing stewardship of the land & fellow beings that live on it. To ensure our home stays lovely and to maintain the integrity of our mission, we request that guests participate in the mindset of being good stewards of their surroundings, and require all guests to get familiar with and abide by the Guest manual and house rules during their stay here.
